FUE hair transplant Marbella
FUE Sapphire: the most advanced technique in hair transplantation
The Sapphire FUE technique (Follicular Unit Extraction with Sapphire) is an evolution of the traditional FUE technique. It uses ultra-thin sapphire blades instead of steel, allowing for more precise micro-incisions, minimizing damage to the scalp, and accelerating recovery.
Thanks to this advanced technology, greater hair density, a more natural appearance, and faster healing are achieved, with a virtually painless grafting experience.

Strengthen before transplanting
At Capilaris, we don’t operate just for the sake of operating. If the donor area isn’t ready, we strengthen it first and then perform the transplant. In our team, what a sales representative does in other clinics, a healthcare professional does here. That’s the difference between being sold a transplant and having the results taken care of.

Frequently asked questions
What is a hair transplant and how is it performed at Capilaris?
At Capilaris, we perform hair transplants using the Sapphire FUE technique, one of the most advanced in the industry. This method allows for individual micro-extractions from the donor area and implantation in areas that have lost density. The incisions are made with ultra-fine sapphire blades, ensuring more precise cuts, less bleeding, minimal scarring, and a faster recovery.
Unlike traditional FUE—which used metal scalpels and presented a higher risk of infection and a lower success rate—Sapphire FUE allows for greater follicle adhesion and much more natural results. At Capilaris, we always offer a fixed price, without charging per follicle or applying surcharges based on the number implanted.
Before surgery, a personalised design is created taking into account the patient’s features, age, and facial shape. We also offer continuous medical follow-up, video consultations, and a specialised post-operative team that supports the patient at every stage of the process.
Does a hair transplant hurt?
Hair transplantation is not painful. At Capilaris, we use needle-free local anaesthesia, ideal for patients with a fear of injections. This system is combined with conscious oral sedation, which keeps the patient relaxed but awake, allowing them to talk, eat, or use the toilet throughout the procedure.
Thanks to this protocol, the surgery is very well tolerated: there may only be slight initial discomfort when the anaesthesia is administered, but afterwards, the procedure is completely comfortable. At the end of the surgery, the medical team explains to the patient how to care for the operated area, what medication to take, and what guidelines to follow to promote a quick and uncomplicated recovery.
Who is a suitable candidate for a hair transplant?
Not everyone is a candidate, which is why at Capilaris we conduct an individualised medical evaluation to determine if a transplant is viable. The main factors assessed are:
- Donor area: Must have sufficient hair density and quality.
- Type of alopecia: Androgenetic alopecia is usually the most indicated.
- Age and progression of hair loss: If the alopecia is very active, it is first stabilised with medical treatment.
- Patient expectations: These must be realistic to ensure satisfaction with the outcome.
It’s important to understand that alopecia has no definitive cure. A hair transplant fills in the balding areas, but the original hair may continue to weaken. That’s why at Capilaris we combine surgery with medical treatments, PRP or mesotherapy, along with Anti-Hair Loss and Strengthening Therapy (TAF), which help maintain the results long-term.
How long does the surgery take and what is the recovery like?
The duration of the surgery depends on the size of the area being treated, although it typically ranges from 3 to 6 hours. It is a day-case procedure, so the patient goes home the same day.
Recovery is quick and comfortable. The next day you can resume almost normal activities: going out, walking, or doing light exercise. From the seventh day onwards, you can wear a hat and return to your routine without drawing attention.
At Capilaris, follow-up is medical and personalised, without commercial intermediaries. The entire team involved in post-operative care belongs to the healthcare sector and specialises in hair transplantation, guaranteeing safety, precision, and constant attention.
When will the results of the hair transplant be visible?
Transplanted hair may fall out during the first 10 to 15 days, but that is totally normal: the follicle remains inside and will produce a new hair.
- At 3 months: The change begins to be seen, with the first signs of growth.
- At 6 months: The result is very visible and many patients are already satisfied.
- At 12 months: The final result is achieved, with full density.
Everyone’s hair grows at a different rate. At Capilaris, we explain this process in detail during the post-operative period so that the patient understands each phase and knows what to expect without unnecessary worry.
What is included in the price of the hair transplant at Capilaris?
Capilaris always works with a fixed price, without charging per follicle. This price includes:
- Initial medical assessment (in person or via video consultation).
- Custom front line design.
- Sapphire FUE surgery.
- Surgical equipment and medical team, both our own and international, with experience.
- Basic post-operative care kit.
- Medical check-ups and full support during recovery.
- Financing available.
In this way, the patient knows from the beginning what they will pay and what is included, without surprises or hidden costs.
What aftercare is required following the hair transplant?
The post-operative period is a fundamental part of the success of the treatment, and at Capilaris, the patient is guided step by step so that they do not have to improvise.
- Day 1: Very gentle wash with spray or mineral water.
- Day 3: Apply neutral shampoo foam by dabbing, leave on and rinse without rubbing.
- Day 10: More normal washing, always with care and without rubbing hard.
For the first 7 days, the transplanted area must be protected, and after that, it is possible to wear a cap and resume normal activities. The post-operative team reviews the patient’s photos, adjusts the guidelines, and answers any questions at any time.
How long do hair transplant results last?
Transplanted hair does not fall out, as it comes from the donor area and is genetically programmed to resist hair loss. However, the original hair in the recipient area, which was not transplanted, may continue to weaken.
That’s why at Capilaris we emphasize the importance of maintaining a medical treatment regimen (TAF, PRP, mesotherapy, or personalised formulas) to slow the progression of alopecia. Transplantation is a definitive solution for the treated areas, but its long-term success depends on overall scalp care and adherence to the medical treatment.
Why choose a clinic in Spain instead of going to Turkey?
More and more patients are choosing to have surgery in Spain because it offers safety, medical oversight, and real-time follow-up. At Capilaris, by having the procedure done in Marbella, patients benefit from all the advantages of a localised and closely monitored surgery.
- Safety and medical guarantees: Clinics in Spain have NICA certification and are subject to health inspections.
- Complaints and follow-up: If something does not progress as expected, the patient can easily return for a check-up.
- Language and direct communication: The entire process is explained in Spanish, without linguistic barriers.
- Actual post-operative period: Medical follow-up is maintained for 12 months.
- Material and technique: At Capilaris we only use Sapphire FUE with our own medical team, not rotating staff.
In Türkiye, although prices may seem attractive, many centres do not guarantee adequate sterilisation or continuity of follow-up, which increases risks and can complicate the results.
Is the procedure safe and who performs the follow-up?
Yes. Hair transplantation is a minor and safe surgery when performed in an authorised healthcare setting by qualified personnel. At Capilaris, we work with a specialised medical and technical team, all with accredited qualifications and experience in hair transplant surgery. All sterilisation, medication, and anaesthesia protocols are supervised.
Post-operative care is provided exclusively by healthcare professionals, not by sales representatives or external call centres. This ensures that the patient receives medical advice, not marketing materials. Furthermore, if any areas with reduced graft take are detected during the 12-month follow-up protocol, a touch-up procedure will be considered at no additional cost.
The complication rate is minimal, and continuous medical support ensures a controlled, safe evolution with natural results.
